Welcome to the Nikolausfest Wadersloh-Diestedde 2026 in Wadersloh
The St. Nicholas Days turn Diestedde, a district of Wadersloh, into the well-known Nikolausdorf on 28 and 29 November 2026. Around the historic Backhaus near St. Nikolaus Church a cosy Christmas market with local clubs, craft stalls and regional specialties takes place. The highlight is the visit of St. Nicholas with Knecht Ruprecht and little angels at this traditional village festival.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
On Saturday, 28 November 2026, the market opens in the afternoon or evening (after mass) around the Backhaus. Clubs offer mulled wine, hot drinks and food. On Sunday, 29 November, Nikolaus Sunday starts from around 1 pm. The highlight is the arrival of St. Nicholas with his companions around 3 pm, welcomed by the brass orchestra. Further music performances follow and visitors can meet St. Nicholas and take photos. The market stays open into the evening.
