Welcome to the New Year Parties 2026/2027 in Norderney

On New Year’s Eve 2026/2027, Norderney celebrates in two rooms beside the Kurplatz: a band-and-DJ dance party at the Conversationshaus and a classical gala at the Kurtheater. Both start at 21:00 on Thursday, 31 December 2026. The party runs until about 03:00 on 1 January 2027. No separate island disco or beach-club bill for that night had been published at the time of research. The only confirmed club-style dance night is the Conversationshaus party.

• Silvesterparty with band and DJ at the Conversationshaus: five-piece Sky Dynamo Band plus a DJ, 21:00 to about 03:00, ticket 30 euros.
• New Year’s gala by the Cologne Chamber Philharmonic at the Kurtheater: motto “Concerti virtuosi”, doors 20:30, concert 21:00, about 90 minutes, tickets from 24 euros.
• The two ticketed nights run in parallel. There is no published way to move from the gala into the party; pick one evening.
• Winterzauber on the Kurplatz from 27 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, usually 11:00 to 20:00 daily, free entry. On New Year’s Eve the stalls close before midnight.
• The official island calendar also lists Bluenight Boogie (music and comedy) on 29 December 2026 and the Norderneyer Döntje Singers on 30 December 2026. Time, room and price for those two dates were not on the ticket pages yet.
• A sold-out New Year’s dinner in the Plauderei of Hotel 1884: reception from 17:45, seven courses, 235 euros per person. That is a seated dinner, not a club night.
• The party ticket states there is no fireworks display. No official municipal fireworks show appeared in the published programmes.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026/2027

Dance party at the Conversationshaus, Am Kurplatz 1: Thursday, 31 December 2026, from 21:00 until about 03:00. Sky Dynamo play live, then a DJ takes the floor. The Kurpalais team serves drinks and small snacks; consumption is not included. Mostly standing room, a few seats, no reservations. The published dress code is “Come as you are”. Entry from age 16 only with a parent or legal guardian. Cloakroom is included in the 30-euro ticket. Tickets already bought cannot be returned or exchanged. Organiser: Staatsbad Norderney GmbH. Advance and door prices may differ; any leftover tickets are sold at the door or online once the box office opens.

Gala with the Kammerphilharmonie Köln at the Kurtheater, Am Kurtheater 4: also 31 December 2026. Doors and box office from 20:30, concert at 21:00, about 90 minutes, so until roughly 22:30. Under the motto “Concerti virtuosi” the ensemble plays a light programme drawn from three centuries. Recommended from age 12. Tickets from 24 euros, with advance and door prices. Higher seat categories were not itemised when checked. Organiser again: Staatsbad Norderney GmbH. In October 2026 online booking for both the party and the gala was temporarily closed, while the prices were already published.

Winterzauber on the Kurplatz in front of the Conversationshaus: 27 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, generally 11:00 to 20:00 each day. Some listings show 17:00 to 20:00 only on 27 December. Free entry. Stalls with warm drinks and winter food, open to families. This is the daytime lead-in, not the midnight party. On 31 December the stalls close at 20:00, one hour before the party and the gala.

Further dates on the official calendar, still without published room times and prices: Bluenight Boogie – music and comedy on 29 December 2026, and the Norderneyer Döntje Singers on 30 December 2026. An earlier Döntje evening at the Conversationshaus had tickets from 12 euros; do not copy that price onto 30 December. A New Year’s fun run, a New Year’s Day swim and extra club nights were not in the ticket records checked on the Staatsbad pages. Hotels and small bars may still add their own evenings later.

Separate from the public parties: the Silvester evening in the Plauderei of Hotel 1884 on 31 December 2026 is sold out. Champagne reception with canapés from 17:45, seven courses from about 18:30, 235 euros per person, including a course timed to fireworks. It is not a disco ticket and not a substitute for the Conversationshaus party.

Tickets & Admission for New Year Parties Norderney

Published public prices: gala from 24 euros, dance party 30 euros including the cloakroom, excluding drinks and with no fireworks. Winterzauber on the Kurplatz is free and needs no ticket. The Hotel 1884 menu is 235 euros and sold out. Buy the party and the gala only through the Staatsbad Norderney event pages. Shortly before you travel, check whether advance sales have reopened and whether Bluenight Boogie and the Döntje Singers have their own tickets. For the dance night: no table reservations, limited seats, no exchanges.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Norderney

• Norderney is reached only by ferry from Norddeich Mole. Rail passengers ride to Norddeich Mole and change to the boat. Over the turn of the year, ferry space and island rooms go early; book the crossing and the bed together.
• Late December on the North Sea is windy, often wet, and only a few degrees above freezing. Warm layers, a windproof jacket and solid shoes matter more than a thin party outfit on the walk from the harbour to the Kurplatz. Inside, the dance night’s published dress code is “Come as you are”.
• Stay near the Kurplatz and the Kurtheater if you do not want a long walk after 03:00. The two ticketed evenings are a few minutes apart on foot, but they cannot be combined.
• Private fireworks are banned year-round near churches, hospitals, children’s and care homes, and thatched or half-timbered houses. Within 200 metres of the Norderney windmill, aerial fireworks are forbidden, and hand-thrown firecrackers are also banned inside a throw of about 25 to 30 metres. Fines apply.
• Winterzauber ends at 20:00 on New Year’s Eve. Midnight on a dance floor means the Conversationshaus party ticket. The concert means the Kurtheater from 20:30. Ages: party from 16 with a guardian, gala recommended from 12.
