Guests gather at the Konolfingen depot ahead of departure for a first beer. The roughly three hour steam train journey then winds through the scenic winter landscape of the Emmental, with eight beer samples and hearty food served on board. A ticket costs 149 Swiss francs per person and includes the train journey, eight beer samples, onboard food, plus a glass and bottle opener. The Sennhüttli carriage and the midday ride as a whole are already sold out, while a limited number of seats remain in the Schmucktruckli carriage and for an additional ride on the same day. Presales are ongoing, with tickets mailed out in November 2026.

- Konolfingen is about twenty minutes from Bern by train, and arriving without a car is recommended
- Since the moving train has no active heating, warm clothing and sturdy shoes are advisable for the winter outing
