Welcome to the Oben Ohne Open Air 2027 in Munich
The Oben Ohne Open Air takes place on 24 July 2027 from 13:00 to 22:00 at the historic Königsplatz in Munich. Organised by the Kreisjugendring München-Stadt and Kreisjugendring München-Land, it is one of the largest non-commercial open-air festivals in southern Germany and is especially aimed at young people. With affordable tickets, two stages and a mix of pop, hip-hop, indie and electronic sounds, it offers a low-threshold festival experience right in the city centre.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival is a one-day open-air event on Königsplatz. Admission starts at 12:00, music begins at 13:00 and ends promptly at 22:00. National and international acts from hip-hop, pop, indie and electronic music perform on the Mainstage and the second stage. The exact line-up for 2027 will be announced later. The programme is complemented by the Future Park with information stands on education and careers as well as awareness teams that ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere. After the music ends, the site must be left.
Tickets & Admission for Oben Ohne Open Air Munich
Tickets for the Oben Ohne Open Air 2027 are not yet available. In previous years the regular ticket price was around 17.50 Euro. Free options exist for holders of a valid Juleica as well as solidarity tickets for eligible young people with a Munich Pass or similar proof. Severely disabled persons with the B mark may bring an accompanying person free of charge. As soon as pre-sale starts, tickets will be available via the official website www.oben-air.de and Instagram. A waiting list and resale platform are usually provided.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Munich
- Best to arrive by public transport: U2/U8 to Königsplatz station, U1 Stiglmaierplatz or a 10-minute walk from Munich Central Station. Parking is very limited.
- Pack light and weatherproof clothing – Munich summers can be warm but changeable. Small bags (max. A4 size) are allowed; larger backpacks and umbrellas bigger than a handbag are prohibited.
- Book accommodation near the centre or Maxvorstadt early, as festival dates and summer in Munich create high demand.
- Young people from the age of 12 may attend without an adult. Under 12 only with a parent or guardian; visits with children under 8 are not recommended due to the volume.
- Use the Awareness Team and Safer Space if needed – the festival places great importance on respectful and safe celebration.
