The Historic Christmas Market Oberwesel 2026 takes place on 28 and 29 November on the market square and Rathausstrasse. Crafts, a family programme, the Kulturhaus and mulled wine on the Rhine – admission is free.

Rhine in Flames Oberwesel 2027: Fireworks, Castle Illumination and River Parade

On 12 September 2026, Oberwesel celebrates "Rhine in Flames": a music synchronized fireworks display at the Loreley rock, Bengal illumination of the old town and a ship parade on the Rhine, alongside the traditional wine market. The land program is free.
