Welcome to the Oktoberfest Baden 2026 in Baden
Oktoberfest Baden is one of the largest and most atmospheric Oktoberfest celebrations in Switzerland. From 16 to 31 October 2026 the Brown Boveri Platz in Baden turns into an authentic beer tent with Bavarian tradition and Swiss flair. On six evenings (Fridays and Saturdays) more than 10,000 visitors can enjoy live music, litre steins of beer and hearty Bavarian specialities.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
Oktoberfest Baden 2026 takes place on three weekends: Friday and Saturday 16/17 October, 23/24 October and 30/31 October. Opening hours are 4 p.m. to midnight. Popular Oktoberfest bands provide the entertainment on stage. Culinary offerings include classic Bavarian dishes and drinks. Table reservations are strongly recommended as seats sell out quickly.
Tickets & Admission for Oktoberfest Baden
Single entry costs approximately 32 Euro (CHF 30, including cloakroom, no reserved table – limited availability). Table packages for 10 people start at around 76 Euro per person (Wiesn-Schmankerl including entry, beer and main course) and go up to VIP packages exceeding 150 Euro. Tickets and reservations are available via the official website oktoberfest-baden.ch. Early booking is advised.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Baden
- Brown Boveri Platz is only a few minutes’ walk from Baden railway station; Trafo car park nearby
- Dirndl or lederhosen are welcome but not compulsory – comfortable shoes are recommended
- Book accommodation in Baden or Zurich early as the festival is very popular
- Reserve a table in advance – spontaneous entry is limited
- Bring rain protection in case of changeable weather
