Welcome to Oktoberfest Barcelona 2026 in Barcelona
For its thirteenth edition, La Wiesn returns to Barcelona, blending Bavarian tradition with Catalan flair. In 2026 the festival moves for the first time to Fira de Barcelona Gran Via in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, where an enclosed, climate controlled hall of more than 15,000 square meters hosts the celebrations.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
Oktoberfest Barcelona runs from September 24 to October 11, 2026, open only Thursday through Sunday across three weekends. Thursdays run from 17:00 to 23:00, Fridays from 17:00 to 01:00, Saturdays from 12:00 to 01:00 and Sundays from 12:00 to 23:00. Live Bavarian bands and DJs keep the atmosphere going under the festival hall roof throughout.
Tickets and Admission for Oktoberfest Barcelona 2026
General entry to the venue is free. Visitors who want a guaranteed table can reserve a general table with an individual QR code ticket, or choose the VIP area for around 36 euros per person, which includes a cashless wristband with prepaid food and drink redeemable inside the VIP zone. Reservations are handled exclusively through the festival's official website.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Barcelona
- Fira Gran Via is easily reached by metro (line L9 Sud, Fira station), as well as by bus and train
- Early October usually brings mild autumn weather to Barcelona, though a light rain layer for evenings is still a good idea
- Accommodation in Barcelona or nearby L'Hospitalet de Llobregat should be booked early given the high demand
- Minors are allowed when accompanied by a parent or guardian, but alcohol is only served to adults
