Welcome to Oktoberfest Munich 2026
The 191st Oktoberfest takes place from 19 September to 4 October 2026 at Munich's famous Theresienwiese. Millions of visitors come every year to experience traditional beer tents, Bavarian food, amusement rides and one of the world's most iconic festivals.

Tickets & Reservations
Admission to Oktoberfest is free. However, table reservations are highly recommended for the most popular beer tents and usually include vouchers for beer and traditional Bavarian meals.

- Visit on weekday mornings for a more relaxed atmosphere.
- Use Munich's excellent public transportation.
- Book beer tent reservations several months ahead.
- Traditional Dirndl or Lederhosen outfits enhance the experience.
