Welcome to the Oktoberfest Winterthur 2026 in Winterthur
The Oktoberfest Winterthur takes place from 8 to 31 October 2026 in the historic Reithalle and offers authentic Bavarian festival atmosphere with beer, pork knuckle and live music. Since 1999 the event has been a fixed date in the Swiss festival calendar and attracts guests with tent atmosphere, traditional costumes and the popular Alpengaudi outdoor area. The combination of indoor festival and outdoor bar makes Oktoberfest Winterthur one of the most atmospheric of its kind in the Zurich region.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
Oktoberfest Winterthur runs from 8 to 31 October 2026. Evenings in the Reithalle take place Thursday to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., while the Alpengaudi opens from 5 p.m. On Sunday 25 October the traditional Stadl runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The programme features rotating live bands, traditional brass music and party hits. The opening on 8 October offers a special package with aperitif and free consumption.
Tickets & Admission for Oktoberfest Winterthur
Entry and consumption are via table packages. Prices range from approximately 50 to 80 Euro per person (converted from CHF) depending on category and date and usually include admission, one litre of beer and a main course. VIP boxes and opening packages cost more. Tickets are available via the official website oktoberfest.ch and the ticket shop. The Alpengaudi area is accessible without table reservation.
