From 20 November to 23 December 2026, the historic heart of Olomouc transforms into one of Czechia's most charming and authentic Christmas markets. Regarded as a true hidden gem, this market is perfect for those seeking a peaceful and relaxed holiday atmosphere. Away from the heavy tourist crowds, visitors can experience a serene Christmas nestled among impressive baroque architecture and historical columns, including the renowned UNESCO Holy Trinity Column.

The festive stalls across the main squares are open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. In addition to crafts and local delicacies, the market features a colorful cultural program. Performances by local bands, theatrical shows for children, and creative workshops create a heartwarming, family-friendly vibe. Please note that the market is closed on Christmas Day.
