Welcome to the OpenAir St. Gallen 2027 in St. Gallen

OpenAir St. Gallen has been one of Switzerland’s oldest and most popular open-air festivals since 1977. The 49th edition takes place from 1 to 4 July 2027 in the scenic Sittertobel valley. International and local acts from rock, indie, pop and other genres meet a unique camping atmosphere right in a nature reserve.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

The festival runs over four days from Thursday to Sunday. Gates usually open on Thursday from 12:00. Several stages, including the Sitter Stage and Sternen Stage, host headliners and emerging artists. The 2027 line-up will be announced step by step and typically features rock, indie, pop, hip-hop and electronic acts. Concerts take place throughout the day and into the night, allowing visitors to stay on site the entire time.

Tickets are available via the official ticket shop. Fan tickets for 2027 have started in different price tiers (tier 1 from around CHF 239, tier 2 from around CHF 269). Regular 4-day passes were approximately CHF 299, 3-day passes CHF 275, 2-day passes CHF 239 and Sunday day tickets CHF 109 in the previous edition. VIP tickets went up to about CHF 499. Converted, prices range roughly from 117 to 534 Euro. Camping and nationwide public transport travel are included. There are no single-day tickets for Thursday to Saturday. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in St. Gallen

  • Use the free public transport option: generate SBB codes with your ticket number and take train or bus. Shuttle buses run from St. Gallen Nord station.
  • July weather can be warm and sunny but also rainy – bring weatherproof clothing, sun protection and sturdy shoes for the grounds.
  • Camping is included and located on site. Pre-pitched tents or Comfort Camping options are available – book early.
  • City accommodation in St. Gallen fills up quickly during the festival. Reserve hotels and hostels in advance.
  • Cashless payment is used on site and sustainable behaviour (no plastic, waste separation) is expected. Note the age limit of 16 years (younger visitors only when accompanied).
