The Øya Festival (Norwegian: Øyafestivalen) takes place from 11 to 14 August 2027 in Tøyenparken; the date is already confirmed on the official site oyafestivalen.no. Founded in 1999, it is one of Norway's most important music festivals and draws around 60,000 visitors per day.

How Much Do Øya Festival 2027 Tickets Cost?
Presale for 2027 has opened, with the official site advertising a limited time 500 NOK discount on the festival pass. Full 2027 pricing has not yet been published. For reference, the 2026 full four day festival pass cost 4,399 NOK (3,584 NOK for visitors under 23), day tickets ranged from 1,464 to 1,599 NOK depending on the day, and children under 12 paid 50 NOK per day.
Who Is Playing at Øya Festival?
The lineup leans toward indie, rock and alternative music, with electronic and hip hop acts added each year. Past headliners have included Arctic Monkeys, Kendrick Lamar, The Cure and Arcade Fire. The 2027 program will be announced gradually over the coming months.

Øya is widely regarded as one of the most sustainable major festivals in the world: it has held Miljøfyrtårn (Eco Lighthouse) certification for over 20 years and has tracked its own carbon footprint for just as long.
