What Is Ozora Festival?
The Ozora Festival is Europe's biggest psychedelic art and trance gathering. Held every summer at Dádpuszta near the village of Ozora in Hungary, it turns a wide valley into a utopian village of art installations, workshops and multiple stages for roughly two weeks. Since its first edition in 2004, the festival has drawn around 30,000 visitors a year from the global Goa and psytrance community.
When Is Ozora Festival 2027?
Ozora Festival 2027 runs from 23 July to 3 August at Dádpuszta. Gate opening is on Friday, 23 July at 12:00 noon, followed by the main Opening Ceremony on Monday, 26 July at 20:00. Gate closing is on Tuesday, 3 August at 12:00 noon. For reference, the 2026 edition ran from 24 July to 4 August, so the festival traditionally falls in the last days of July or the first half of August.

Where Is Ozora Festival Held?
The festival takes place at Dádpuszta, a rural site near the village of Ozora, about 140 kilometers southwest of Budapest. Most visitors fly into Budapest and continue by bus, by train to Ozora station, or with organized shuttle buses that many travel operators run during the festival period.
What Can You Expect at Ozora Festival?
The lineup spans several themed stages: the Ozora Stage for psytrance and progressive, the Dome for downtempo and psybient, Pumpui for techno and house, Dragon Nest for live bands and world music, and Ambyss for atmospheric soundscapes. Beyond the music, visitors can explore art installations, workshops (such as basket weaving, blacksmithing or jewelry making), a lookout tower called Mirador, and a strong sense of community that many describe as a journey of self discovery.
How Much Do Ozora Festival 2027 Tickets Cost?
Ticket registration for 2027 is already open: registration begins on 1 September, and actual ticket sales start on 14 September at 12:00 noon. Prices remain unchanged from the previous year; 12,500 tickets are available at 220€ each in the Autumn Ticket Sale (this price includes the service charge). A part payment option is also available: 120€ online plus 100€ in cash at the gate. To complete registration, visitors must accept the Ozora 13 Points. Unpaid ticket registrations remain valid until the Gate Ticket Sale begins; anyone planning to buy tickets at the gate needs a separate Gate Ticket registration. Tickets are non refundable. Ticket Exchange and Transfer is available from 20 December to 1 July 2027 (12:00 noon).
Practical Tips for Visitors
- Register and buy tickets as early as possible, since prices rise closer to the festival and the Autumn Ticket Sale allocation is limited.
- Bring a tent and camping gear, as camping is the standard way to stay onsite.
- Plan for cash in Hungarian forint, as card payment is not accepted everywhere, especially for the cash portion of the part payment option at the gate.
- Bring ear protection, since the sound systems on several stages run very loud.
- Allow extra travel time from Budapest, especially for shuttle buses during peak hours.
