When does the Paléo Festival Nyon 2027 take place?
The Paléo Festival Nyon runs from 19 to 25 July 2027. Switzerland's largest open air festival marks its 50th edition with an exceptional seven day run instead of the usual six, and organisers have announced an especially extensive program for the anniversary.
Where is the festival held and how do you get there?
The festival takes place on the Plaine de l'Asse in Nyon, located between Geneva and Lausanne on the shore of Lake Geneva. Travelling by train is strongly recommended: from Geneva, the SBB/CFF railway reaches Nyon in about 17 minutes, and a free rack railway (NStCM) then takes festivalgoers with a valid ticket straight to the site. Walking from Nyon station along the lit Route de St Cergue takes roughly 30 minutes and is also an option. TCS coaches from across French speaking Switzerland and regional CarPostal buses also serve the festival grounds.

How much do tickets for the Paléo Festival cost?
Ticket prices for 2027 will only be announced when the Christmas presale opens in December 2026. As a reference point, the 2026 edition charged day tickets between CHF 89 and CHF 99 depending on the weekday (reduced rate CHF 74 to CHF 84), while the six day pass cost CHF 465 for adults and CHF 390 at the reduced rate. Children under 12 enter free when accompanied by an adult. The only official sales channels are paleo.ch, the Paléo Shop and ticketcorner.ch.
What can visitors expect at the Paléo Festival 2027?
Since 1976, the independent, non profit festival has staged over 200 concerts across around eight stages, ranging from the huge main stage to smaller tents dedicated to emerging talent. The themed "Village du Monde" spotlights a different world region each year with matching food and decor. In 2025, Paléo was voted Best Major Festival in Europe by Yourope. The 2027 lineup is traditionally revealed in spring.
