On June 25 and 26, 2027, the city beach Bystranda in the heart of Kristiansand once again turns into Scandinavia's biggest beach festival. Every year, up to 40,000 people flock to the southern coast of Norway to enjoy two days of sun, music and sea right in the middle of the city.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Kristiansand
Palmesus traditionally runs Friday through Saturday, preceded by a Kick Off night on Thursday. Daytime brings beach programming and warm up sets, while the evenings belong to the main stage headliners. The full 2027 lineup has not been announced yet and will be published on the official website over the coming months.

Ticket sales for Palmesus 2027 are already underway, and organizers report that some early batches sold out quickly. Exact 2027 prices have not been published; for the 2026 edition, a Beach Pass for Friday or Saturday cost around 128 euros, and a weekend pass around 202 euros. Premium tickets, which include access to a dedicated area and boat parties, ran around 174 euros for one day and around 294 euros for the weekend. Palmesus has an age limit of 18, and some premium areas require guests to be 20 or older.
