Welcome to the Passauer Maidult & Herbstdult 2027 in Passau

The Passauer Maidult and Herbstdult are among the largest and most beautiful funfairs in Eastern Bavaria. Twice a year the Messepark Kohlbruck turns into a lively festival ground with beer tents, rides and genuine Bavarian hospitality. The Maidult opens the festival season in spring, while the Herbstdult provides a festive finale in September.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

The Passauer Maidult 2027 is scheduled from 30 April to 9 May. The Herbstdult 2027 is planned for 3 to 12 September. Daily music in the festival tents, special action days such as Children’s Day and Girls’ Evening are part of the programme. The highlight of the Maidult is the large costume parade on the first festival Sunday. On Dult Wednesday a spectacular fireworks display lights up the sky above the Messepark. The beer tents and DultStadl offer live music and Bavarian atmosphere throughout the day.

Tickets & Admission for Passauer Maidult & Herbstdult

Admission to the festival grounds of the Passauer Dulten is free of charge. Rides, food and drinks are paid separately. A Maß of festival beer usually costs around 11–12 euros. Table reservations in the beer tents and DultStadl are recommended and can be made via the official website or the tents themselves.

  • Use the special bus lines and free return transport to the city centre after 8 p.m.
