  • City buses: Lines 10, 15, 17, 22, 37 and 44 stop near the Rowing Canal.
  • The nearest large airport is Sofia Airport (SOF), approx. 130 km away. Plovdiv Airport (PDV) is just 15 km from the venue.

Camping & Accommodation

A caravan park is available directly next to the festival grounds, bookable via Ticketstation. The official festival hotel partner is DoubleTree by Hilton Plovdiv Center. Given Plovdiv's relatively small accommodation capacity, booking well in advance is essential.

Visitor Tips

  • July in Plovdiv is hot and sunny: bring sunscreen, a hat and plenty of water.
  • The local currency is the Bulgarian Lev (BGN); euros are not universally accepted.
  • Prohibited items include glass containers, drones, professional cameras without accreditation, umbrellas, and outside food and drink.
  • Plovdiv is Europe's oldest continuously inhabited city: the Roman amphitheatre, the Old Town and the Kapana creative district are well worth exploring.
  • Book accommodation and shuttle tickets early as Plovdiv's capacity is limited and the festival is drawing visitors from over a dozen countries.
