Welcome to the Müsterter Advent Lights 2026 in Piesport
On 19 December 2026 the Müsterter Advent Lights at Karthäuserplatz in Piesport invite visitors to contemplative hours on the Moselle. Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Müsterter Advent Lights take place on Saturday, 19 December 2026, from 16:00 to 22:00 at Karthäuserplatz. Organised by the Kulturverein Piesport, the event offers a quiet, contemplative alternative to large Christmas markets. In addition to the impressive light installation in the vineyards, guests can expect musical contributions and warm drinks. Further Advent highlights in Piesport include St. Nicholas floating over the Moselle on 6 December and cosy mulled wine evenings in November.

Admission to the Müsterter Advent Lights is free of charge. Drinks and food are available on site and paid for separately. Current information is available on the websites of the Piesport Tourist Information and the local cultural association.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Piesport
- Getting there: Piesport is located on the Middle Moselle and easily reachable by car via the B53. Parking is available in the village and near Karthäuserplatz. By train to Bernkastel-Kues or Neumagen-Dhron, then continue by bus or taxi.
- Warm clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended, as the event takes place outdoors and December weather on the Moselle can be cool and damp.
- Book accommodation in wine estates, guesthouses or holiday apartments in Piesport and the surrounding area early – especially on Advent weekends.
- Combine your visit with a walk through the vineyards or a visit to the Roman wine press.
