Pilsner Fest 2026 – A Full Week of Beer Culture at the Pilsner Urquell Brewery
Pilsner Fest 2026 takes place from 5 to 10 October 2026 at the legendary Pilsner Urquell Brewery in Plzeň, Czech Republic. This year the festival celebrates the 184th anniversary of Pilsner Urquell, the golden lager that changed beer culture worldwide. For the first time in its history, Pilsner Fest runs for an entire week. After a one-year break on the city's main square, the festival returns to where it truly belongs: right back inside the brewery.

Program
The festival grounds open daily from 3:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and from 11:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. The programme runs until 10:00 PM on weekdays; on Friday and Saturday the celebrations continue until midnight.
Monday, 5 October: Official festival opening with a ceremonial keg tapping at 18:42; live performance by Wanastowi Vjecy Revival on the main stage; stand-up comedy show with Nikola Džokić, Anna Bednářová and Jaroslav Cerman at Na Spilce Pub.
Tuesday, 6 October: Benjaming's Clan and IMODIUM on the main stage; pub quiz at Na Spilce Pub.
Wednesday, 7 October: Brass Avenue and Kábat Revival West on the main stage; accordionist Jirka Hilčer at Na Spilce Pub.
Thursday, 8 October: Cheers! and Lucie Revival on the main stage; pub quiz at Na Spilce Pub.
Friday, 9 October: Zooblasters, DOCTOR P.P. and Morčata na útěku on the main stage until midnight; DJs Safari duo at Formanka and Na Spilce Pub.
Saturday, 10 October: Terne Čhave, David Kraus & Gipsy Brothers and Visací zámek on the main stage; Butcher Wars butchery show at Formanka; Perla Revival all day at Na Spilce Pub until midnight.
Admission & VIP Pass
Admission to all festival zones is completely free. However, capacity inside the main tent is limited. For guaranteed entry, a VIP Pilsner Fest Pass is available online. The pass includes guaranteed access to the main tent, unlimited beer and beverages from the Plzeňský Prazdroj portfolio for the entire day, a portion of goulash and a festival glass to take home. Passes cost CZK 450 on Monday through Thursday and CZK 750 on Friday and Saturday. They are available exclusively online and will not be sold at the festival entrance. Numbers are limited.
Visitor Tips
- The festival operates on a cashless basis; card or mobile payment required throughout.
- No parking available inside the brewery grounds during the festival; use public transport or taxis.
- Do not bring large bags or luggage to the festival.
- Dogs are not permitted on the festival grounds.
- Buy your VIP Pass online in advance as numbers are strictly limited and no passes are sold at the gate.
- On Fridays and Saturdays, arrive from 11:00 AM for the best spots before the evening crowds arrive.
- Book accommodation in Plzeň several weeks ahead as the city fills up during festival week.
