Welcome to the Pirates & Vikings Open Air 2027 in Rotenhain
The Pirates & Vikings Open Air 2027 takes place on 21 and 22 May 2027 at the Freizeitanlage in Rotenhain in the Westerwald. Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival runs on 21 and 22 May 2027. Doors open at 11:00. In addition to Pirate Metal and Folk Rock/Metal, the 2027 edition also features Viking and Pagan Metal – always melodic and party-oriented. The first bands (including Toter Fisch, Manntra and Taurus Ferus) have already been announced. More acts will be revealed in the coming weeks. The event is aimed at fans who enjoy a mix of good vibes and varied metal styles.
Tickets & Admission for Pirates & Vikings Open Air Rotenhain
Blind Man tickets (limited to 100) were available for €76 until 31 August 2026. Current Early Breeze tickets cost €85–88 (limited to 200, available until 31 December 2026). Afterwards Broken Sails tickets will be €92. A possible fourth price tier may be introduced around 8 weeks before the festival. Camping tickets cost €15 per person (Friday–Sunday), car tickets €10 and motorhome/caravan tickets €20 per vehicle (all limited). All prices in euros. Camping tickets are only valid together with an entrance ticket. Check current availability and buy at pirate-fest.de.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Rotenhain
- Arrive by car in the Westerwald region; the venue is at Hauptstraße 6, 56459 Rotenhain. Parking and camping facilities are available on site.
- Pack weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes – May open-air weather can be changeable.
- Book camping tickets early, as pitches and car/motorhome spots are limited (max. 30–40 m² per plot).
- Reserve accommodation in the Westerwald area or nearby towns in advance if you are not camping.
- Always show entrance and camping tickets together; no access to the camping area without a festival ticket.
