Welcome to the Pista Extra da Veiga 2026 in Vegadeo
Pista Extra da Veiga 2026 takes place on 28 November at the Recinto Ferial in Vegadeo, Asturias. The punk and combative-rock festival is the spin-off of the former Lugo event A Candeloria and, after two editions in Lugo, moves to Vegadeo for the first time. Expect a long concert night with established Iberian punk bands, a free indoor camping area and limited capacity.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
Doors are expected to open on Saturday, 28 November 2026, around 18:00. The event is a one-day concert night running into the early hours. Confirmed names include Soziedad Alkoholika, Narco celebrating 30 years as a band, Manolo Kabezabolo, La Mørgue, Crisix, Jarfaiter and DJ Jordi Pánico. Further acts were added during summer 2026; the full timetable is usually published a few weeks before the show at acandeloria.org. The original A Candeloria festival in Lugo ended after the farewell edition “O último berro” on 11 April 2026; Pista Extra continues the winter punk format in a new town.
Tickets & Admission for Pista Extra da Veiga Vegadeo
Admission is paid. Advance tickets started at 32 EUR plus booking fees and rise in batches; later lots reached around 42 EUR in previous editions. Buy only via the official site acandeloria.org. Under-12s enter free with a responsible adult. Ages 12 to 16 pay and must be accompanied. Ages 16 and 17 may enter alone with a signed parental authorisation. There are no classic VIP sectors; the festival is built around a shared pit.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Vegadeo
- Vegadeo sits on the Asturias–Galicia border. Drive via the A-8 (Vegadeo exit). By bus or train, plan via Ribadeo, Oviedo or Lugo; evening connections are limited.
- Late November in western Asturias is cold, windy and often wet. Bring sturdy shoes, a rain jacket and ear protection for the pit.
- Book hotels and guesthouses in Vegadeo, Castropol or Ribadeo early – the town is small. Alternatively use the free indoor camping area at Recinto Ferial.
- Park at the fairground; do not block the venue itself. Car shares from Lugo, Oviedo and A Coruña are common.
- Cashless wristbands were standard at previous editions; check the current payment rules and buy tickets only from the official website.
