What is Pop-Kultur Berlin?
Pop-Kultur is a city wide festival organized by Musicboard Berlin that brings together concerts, talks and DJ sets centered on contemporary pop music. Grown out of the former Berlin Music Week, the festival takes place for the twelfth time in 2026 and runs across seven days for the first time, with the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg remaining the heart of the live program.
When does Pop-Kultur Berlin 2026 take place?
The festival runs from 24 to 30 August 2026. Monday and Tuesday focus on talks and industry formats, the first major concert nights begin on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday bring the densest live program at the Kulturbrauerei, and the week closes on Sunday with an experimental finale concert at the Pierre Boulez Saal.

Where does Pop-Kultur Berlin take place? (Venues)
In 2026, Pop Kultur spreads across four Berlin districts. It opens at the silent green Kulturquartier in Wedding, a former crematorium now used as a cultural venue. Over the weekend the festival moves to the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg, with additional programming at Festsaal Kreuzberg, Berliner Ensemble and the Pierre Boulez Saal in Mitte. A shuttle service between silent green and Kulturbrauerei is planned during the festival week.
Who is playing at Pop-Kultur Festival 2026? (Program and lineup)
Key acts for the twelfth edition include The Notwist, Bar Italia, Avalon Emerson & the Charm, Sophia Kennedy, Jassin, Rosa Anschütz and PVA. The program covers around 120 items overall: live concerts, DJ sets, talks, panels and the "Pop Kultur Nachwuchs" program, which brings young musicians from around the world to Berlin for a week of workshops and performances. The Sunday finale at the Pierre Boulez Saal stays a secret until the last moment.
How much do tickets for Pop-Kultur Berlin 2026 cost?
Single tickets start at 10 euros. The Live Weekend Pass for Friday and Saturday costs 55 euros, and the Talks Pass for Monday and Tuesday costs 15 euros. The Live All In Pass for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday was priced at 75 euros but is already sold out. People who receive social benefits are eligible for a 50 percent discount on regular day tickets and selected festival passes.

- Kulturbrauerei: take U Bahn line U2 to Eberswalder Straße in Prenzlauer Berg.
- silent green: take U Bahn line U6 to Seestraße in Wedding.
- Visitors with disabilities can get a free companion ticket under certain conditions.
- A separate ticket is required for the closing concert at the Pierre Boulez Saal.
- Since the Live All In Pass is sold out, look for day tickets or the Live Weekend Pass instead.
