Welcome to the Poulpaphone Festival 2027 in Boulogne-sur-Mer
Poulpaphone has been Boulogne-sur-Mer’s key contemporary music festival on the Opal Coast since 2005. The 2026 edition took place on 25 and 26 September; exact 2027 dates have not been announced yet, but the festival is expected to return in September at L’Embarcadère. Two nights of rock, electro, rap and pop in an industrial harbour setting await visitors.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Exact dates and the 2027 line-up are not yet officially confirmed. In recent years the festival has been held on a Friday and Saturday in September. Doors usually open at 19:00, concerts start around 20:00 and run until approximately 01:30. Two parallel stages allow easy movement between headliners and emerging artists.
The 2026 edition featured hip-hop and electro on Friday and electro-rock on Saturday. The 2027 programme will be published on poulpaphone.com and the festival’s social channels once available.
Tickets & Admission for Poulpaphone Festival Boulogne-sur-Mer
2027 prices have not been released yet. In 2026 advance tickets were around 25 € per night and 40 € for the 2-day pass (plus fees); on-site and under-25 rates started from about 18–28 €. The 2-day pass was roughly 42.50 €. Tickets are typically sold via poulpaphone.com, Ticketmaster and France Billet. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Boulogne-sur-Mer
- About 10 minutes on foot from Place Dalton / city centre; Liane bus station and Marinéo lines nearby
- By car: A16 exit 32 (Nausicaa) or 29 (Port); several car parks at the quay and Embarcadère
- Book accommodation early – hotels and apartments in the centre and harbour fill quickly in September
- Coastal evenings can be cool and windy – bring a jacket
