Welcome to the Pützchens Markt 2026 in Bonn
Pützchens Markt is one of the oldest and largest folk festivals in the Rhineland and celebrates its 657th edition in 2026. From 11 to 15 September the district of Pützchen in Bonn-Beuel turns into a huge fairground with over 170 rides, stalls and festival tents. The tradition dates back to 1376 and combines customs with modern attractions.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
Pützchens Markt lasts five days: Friday 11 September (12 p.m.–3 a.m., parade at 1:30 p.m., opening at 3 p.m.), Saturday 12 September (12 p.m.–3 a.m.), Sunday 13 September (10 a.m.–1 a.m., festive service at 10 a.m., Rhenish evening at 6 p.m.), Monday 14 September (12 p.m.–1 a.m., After-Job-Party at 6 p.m.) and Tuesday 15 September (12 p.m.–midnight, fireworks around 10 p.m.). Visitors can expect spectacular rides, nostalgic carousels and a varied programme for all ages on the extensive grounds.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Bonn
- Use buses, trams and special lines operated by SWB – tram line 66 and several special buses run directly to the site
- Wear comfortable shoes and weatherproof clothing as the grounds are large and partly unpaved
- Book accommodation in Bonn or Beuel early, especially at weekends
- Plan to attend the parade on Friday and the fireworks on Tuesday
- Avoid coming by car – parking is limited and traffic is heavy
