Welcome to Pühajärve Jaanituli 2027 in Otepää
On the shores of Lake Pühajärv near Otepää in southern Estonia, the Pühajärve Jaanituli returns in 2027 as the country's biggest Midsummer festival. Held during the long light nights around the Estonian summer solstice, it combines international electronic and pop acts with the traditional Jaanipäev customs, including the lakeside bonfire.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Otepää
The festival traditionally runs for two days around the Estonian Jaanipäev in late June, with gates usually opening around 7 PM on the first evening and the program continuing into the early hours. Exact 2027 dates and the lineup have not yet been confirmed, in recent years the festival has taken place on a weekend around June 22 to 24. Updates are published on the official website.
Tickets and Admission for Pühajärve Jaanituli
Ticket prices for 2027 have not yet been published. For reference, the 2026 edition offered day tickets from 35 euros, a two day pass for 55 euros, a two day pass with tent camp access for 70 euros, and a VIP pass for 89 euros. Children up to and including age 7 entered free. All prices are subject to an additional service fee from the ticket provider.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Otepää
- Otepää is located in southern Estonia and is typically reached by car or bus via Tartu
- A lakeside tent camp is available right at the festival site, early booking is recommended
- Late June nights in Estonia are very short and the sun barely fully sets, though warm clothing for the night hours is still a good idea
- For accommodation outside the tent camp, book rooms in Otepää or Tartu well in advance
- Breathalyzers are available for free use in the tent camp, along with phone charging points
