Welcome to "Advent in the Courtyards" in Quedlinburg 2026

On the first three weekends of Advent (November 28–29, December 5–6, and December 12–13, 2026), the UNESCO World Heritage town of Quedlinburg hosts a truly magical event. "Advent in the Courtyards" gives visitors exclusive access to normally locked private historic half-timbered courtyards, transforming them into hidden festive wonderlands filled with charm and history.

Program

The participating historic courtyards welcome visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Each courtyard features its own distinct character, offering localized music, crafts, or atmospheric seating areas. This runs alongside the general Quedlinburg Christmas Market, active from November 25 to December 22, 2026.
