Welcome to the Regensburg Christkindlmarkt 2026 at Neupfarrplatz
From November 23 to December 23, 2026, Neupfarrplatz in the heart of Regensburg's old town turns into the city's oldest and largest Christmas market. Around 70 festively decorated stalls gather around the Gothic Neupfarrkirche, continuing a tradition that dates back to the 18th century.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The market is open Sunday through Wednesday from 10 am to 8 pm and Thursday through Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm. It traditionally opens with a ceremony at the Alte Wache featuring the Regensburger Domspatzen boys choir and a visit from St Nicholas, who hands out sweets to children. Live music is especially featured on weekend afternoons, while Wednesdays often bring a dedicated children's day with discounted carousel rides.
