Over eight days, Resonanzen 2027 brings leading early-music ensembles to the Wiener Konzerthaus. The theme »Hands« links medieval, Mannerist and Baroque sound worlds, from late-medieval polyphony and Mannerism to Handel and Zelenka. Evening concerts usually start at 7.30 p.m.; opening and closing performances traditionally take place in the Great Hall and are often broadcast by Austrian radio. Further concerts are given in the Mozart Hall and the Schubert Hall. As in previous years, daytime events such as the historical instrument-making exhibition, talks and smaller formats in the building are expected.
