Welcome to the Rhine in Flames St. Goar 2027 in St. Goar
Rhine in Flames in St. Goar and St. Goarshausen is the traditional fireworks spectacle at the foot of the Loreley and the romantic castles Rheinfels and Katz. On 18 September 2027 the Rhine banks and around 50 colourfully illuminated passenger ships light up the night. The event has been a highlight in the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley for more than 60 years.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The land program starts on Friday evening and continues on Saturday, 18 September 2027. Bands and orchestras perform on the fairground, the Rhine balcony and Heerstraße. Daytime often features brass music, evenings bring entertainment bands. The highlight is the big fireworks display on Saturday evening over the Rhine, which can be enjoyed from the shore or from the ships. The ship convoy gathers in the middle of the Rhine in the evening.
Tickets & Admission for Rhine in Flames St. Goar
The land program and viewing the fireworks from the banks are free of charge. Tickets for the illuminated ships (optional) are available separately through various shipping companies and the tourist information office and typically start from around 90 euros per person including meals. - Prefer train (St. Goar or St. Goarshausen station) or bus – parking is limited
- Bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes as the event takes place outdoors
