Welcome to the Rise Festival 2026 in Les Deux Alpes

Rise Festival returns to Les Deux Alpes in the French Alps from 5 to 12 December 2026 as an independent ski-and-music week: pistes by day, electronic stages by night. The 12th edition pairs about 220 km of runs, including Europe’s largest skiable glacier, with outdoor and indoor venues in the village and on the mountain. Organisers recommend arriving on 5 December and leaving on 12 December; the included six-day lift pass normally runs from Sunday morning to Friday’s last lifts.

Highlights & Attractions at Rise Festival in Les Deux Alpes

  • Skiing and snowboarding across roughly 220 km of pistes, Europe’s largest skiable glacier and around 2,300 m of vertical drop
  • Electronic line-up spanning house, techno, drum & bass and UK garage across multiple stages
  • Alpine Stage in the village centre for headline sets and opening/closing parties in the snow
  • High Altitude Arena at Pano Bar, about 2,600 m, for après shows and high-mountain sets
  • Muzelle Stage at the foot of the slopes, built for après-to-late-night dancing on snow
  • Indoor Arena plus after-hours rooms such as L'Avalanche and Jukeboxx
  • Add-ons including paragliding, helicopter rides, lessons and equipment hire through the festival

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026

Days typically start on the mountain — glacier runs, park laps or optional adventures — then move into après and headline sets after dark. Confirmed or widely listed 2026 names include Sub Focus, Andy C, Chris Stussy, Hannah Laing, A Little Sound, East End Dubs, Harriet Jaxxon, DJ Heartstring, Interplanetary Criminal, Jazzy, K Motionz and Locklead, with further phases still to come. The programme mixes house, techno, drum & bass and UK garage. Exact set times are usually released close to the event via the official app and guest guide.

Saturday 5 December is arrival day, with afternoon check-in and collection of wristbands, lift passes and hire gear. Lift access in the week package generally runs Sunday 6 December through Friday 11 December. Friday is the last full ski day; Saturday 12 December is departure. Music-only day tickets without a lift pass are expected later in 2026. The event is 18+ and ID is required for wristbands.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Les Deux Alpes

  • Closest airports are Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon. Official Rise transfers (Geneva return advertised around £150, about EUR 175) are the organiser-backed option; otherwise train to Grenoble and a transfer or hire car up to the resort at about 1,650 m.
  • Early December is cold in the village and colder on the glacier: pack layered ski kit, winter boots for town, gloves, a hat and high-altitude sun protection.
  • Package apartments, hotels and chalets are central and walkable to lifts and stages. Independent bookings should be made early — the pre-Christmas week fills fast.
  • E-tickets and guides are emailed about two weeks before arrival. Bring photo ID. Collect the lift pass on Saturday; it is valid from Sunday.
  • Altitude, long nights and alcohol add up: schedule rest, drink water and consider mountain rescue cover. Official contact: rise-festival.com and [email protected].
