Welcome to the Rock Art Festival Trier 2026 in Trier
The Rock Art Festival returns to TUFA Trier in 2026 as a Halloween Edition. On 30 and 31 October the intimate indoor festival combines local, national and international rock and metal bands with scene-typical art, walking acts and special lighting. Organised by the Rock Art Kunst- und Kulturverein e.V., the event stands for fair prices and genuine underground atmosphere.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
On Friday 30 October 2026 the free young talent contest “ROKKS!” starts around 6 p.m. Young rock and metal acts perform in front of a professional jury and can win feedback as well as prizes including an opener slot for 2027. On Saturday 31 October the main festival begins with doors at 5:30 p.m. The Night Eternal, Stone Blind, The Sleeping Eye and further bands play in the large hall of the TUFA. Art, specials and Halloween atmosphere complete the programme. Additional acts will be announced.
Tickets & Admission for Rock Art Festival Trier
Admission on Friday (30 October) is free. For Saturday (31 October) tickets start from 34 € in different price tiers. Young people up to 15 years enter free when accompanied by a parent or guardian (ticket required). Tickets are available via Ticket-Regional and the TUFA website. Early booking is recommended.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Trier
- TUFA is centrally located in Trier and easily reachable by bus and train; parking is available nearby and in the Viehmarkt underground garage
- As it is an indoor event, weatherproof clothing is not essential, but comfortable shoes and festival attire are recommended
- Book accommodation in central Trier or near the TUFA early, especially for the Halloween weekend
- Halloween or metal-style costumes are explicitly encouraged
- Combine the visit with a walk through Trier’s historic old town
