Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Live music is scheduled for Friday 16 July and Saturday 17 July 2027. Ticket listings show Friday doors at 18:00 and show start at 18:30, with the programme running until around midnight. Saturday is a full festival day of rock and metal into the evening. The detailed running order will be published closer to the event on the official website. Camping is sold separately; some ticket shops list the weekend through Sunday 18 July 2027 because the site stays in use beyond the two concert days. Expect handmade live music – hard riffs, metal and rock – close to the stage rather than a stadium production.
Tickets & Admission for Rock das Ding Festival Balge
A weekend ticket costs 75 Euro from the organiser (about 78 Euro including fees on ticket platforms). A camping ticket costs 10 Euro (about 11 Euro including fees) and does not include festival entry on its own. - Travel: The airfield is in Balge/Holzbalge, address Zum Flugplatz, 31609 Balge. Arriving by car is the most practical option. Nienburg/Weser station is about 9 kilometres away; continue by taxi, carpool or private car.
- July weather in Lower Saxony can be warm with sudden showers. Pack sturdy shoes, a rain poncho and ear protection.
- Camp on site with an extra ticket, or book hotels in Nienburg/Weser early – Balge itself has limited lodging.
- Bring earplugs, a water bottle and sun protection – the site is open and the stage is loud.
