What is Rock en Seine?
Rock en Seine is one of France's best known rock and pop festivals. Since 2003, it has turned the Domaine national de Saint Cloud, a historic park right outside Paris, into a multi day open air concert venue every year in late August. Several stages bring together international headliners and rising acts from rock, pop, indie and electronic music.
When does Rock en Seine 2027 take place?
The exact date for 2027 has not been announced yet. The edition traditionally runs over several days in late August, with gates typically opening in the early afternoon and the last sets usually finishing around 11:30 PM.
Where is the festival held?
The venue is the Domaine national de Saint Cloud, a 460 hectare heritage listed park with formal French gardens, just a few kilometers west of central Paris. The main entrance is on Place Georges Clémenceau, from where paths through the former royal estate lead to the festival's stages.
Who is playing at Rock en Seine 2027?
The 2027 lineup will be published via the official festival app and website later in the year. Past editions have featured names such as The Cure, Tyler, The Creator and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
How much do tickets cost?
Single day tickets and multi day passes are published together with the program; multi day passes generally offer better value than buying single days separately. Two upgrade options exist as well: Garden (a comfort area with its own bar and live screen) and Primary Entry (earlier access to the main stage area). Tickets should only be bought through the official website or authorized partners.
How do you get to the festival?
The Domaine national de Saint Cloud is easily reached by Metro line 10 (terminus Boulogne, Pont de Saint Cloud) or by Tram line T2 (Parc de Saint Cloud stop). Several bus lines also stop close to the park entrance. Driving is not recommended due to limited parking.
Practical tips for your visit
- Book tickets early once sales open, since prices rise in tiers as allocations sell out.
- Bring comfortable shoes and a light jacket for the evening, as the park is large and temperatures drop after sunset.
- Install the festival app ahead of time to plan around stage times and build your own schedule.
- Allow extra time for getting there, as the area around Boulogne, Pont de Saint Cloud metro station gets busy at peak times.
