Welcome to the Winter Open Air 2027 in Bad Kleinkirchheim
There is no Rock the Hill festival in Bad Kleinkirchheim. Rock the Hill is a bike-and-rock open air at Geisskopf in Bischofsmais, Bavaria; the 2026 edition ran from 4 to 7 June. In Bad Kleinkirchheim the alpine live show in the snow is the Winter Open Air of Wenn die Musi spielt. As of September 2026 musi-open-air.at had not published 2027 dates. The ski area plans winter 2026/2027 from 4 December 2026 to 29 March 2027.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Winter Open Air 2026 used doors around 5.30 pm, a warm-up and a main show from about 8.15 pm, then an aftershow. The 2026 summer open air sat on 19–20 June. Winter 2027 was only a save-the-date with no day. Rock and alpine-rock bills in the Rock the Hill style are not part of the Carinthian TV open air.
For Rock the Hill go to rockthehill.de, MTB Zone Bikepark Geisskopf, Unterbreitenau 1, 94253 Bischofsmais. Day tickets in 2026 started around 81 euros. Reports in 2026 suggested that edition might be the last in that format; check Bavaria, not Carinthia, for 2027.

No 2027 Winter Open Air shop with fixed prices was live in September 2026. Summer 2026 stay packages started at 289 euros including lodging and a combo ticket, VIP stays at 471 euros; those are not winter 2027 concert prices. Adult day ski passes for 2026/2027 start at 73 euros and are separate from any show. Buy only via musi-open-air.at, badkleinkirchheim.com or rockthehill.de depending on the event. price_min and price_max are 0 because 2027 concert prices are unpublished, not because entry is free.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Bad Kleinkirchheim
- Train to Spittal-Millstaettersee or Villach, then bus toward Radenthein / Bad Kleinkirchheim; pack snow chains in winter
- January at 1,100 m is cold and windy on the square; wear layers and solid boots
- Book rooms as soon as the winter date drops; spa hotels sell out in season
- Buy ski and thermal tickets separately; lifts are listed from 4 December 2026
