Welcome to the Rolling Loud Portugal 2027 in Portimão
Rolling Loud Portugal was the beach edition of the world’s largest hip-hop festival brand, held on Praia da Rocha in Portimão. Only two editions actually took place: 6–8 July 2022 and 5–7 July 2023. For 2024 the brand owner officially pulled the festival out of Portugal; there was no Portugal edition in 2025 or 2026 either. A 2027 event in Portimão has not been announced – no dates, no lineup, no tickets on sale. rollingloud.com/2027 is a general mailing list, not a confirmation for Portimão.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
There are no official 2027 festival dates. The only Portimão editions were in early July 2022 and 2023. Gates last opened around 16:00 local time, headliners played near midnight, and the site stayed open into the early morning. Set times were released shortly before the event.
The bill was hip-hop and rap: US headliners, UK names (in 2023, Central Cee, Nines, D-Block Europe and Russ Millions, among others) and local Portuguese artists. The 2023 lineup also featured Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Latto, GloRilla and Gucci Mane. There is no 2027 lineup. After attendance fell from about 55,000 in 2022 to about 20,000 in 2023, the brand left Portugal in 2024 and moved the European stop to Austria; Rolling Loud Europe then skipped 2025 and did not return in 2026. Whether Portimão comes back in 2027 is unknown – only portugal.rollingloud.com and rollingloud.com count as official sources.
Tickets & Admission for Rolling Loud Portugal Portimão
There are no 2027 tickets, because no Portugal edition has been announced. The last published prices are from 2023: three-day General Admission from 179 EUR (first release) and 199 EUR (second release); VIP from 229 EUR and 249 EUR, plus a booking fee (12.5 percent at the time). Later releases cost more; day tickets were also sold. GA covered the main arena for all three days; VIP added fast-track and a private bar, without drinks or tables. If a future onsale opens, buy only via portugal.rollingloud.com or partners named by Rolling Loud. Tickets were historically non-refundable and non-transferable. The festival was not free.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Portimão
- Travel (if a new edition is confirmed): Faro Airport (FAO) is about a one-hour drive from Portimão. Continue by rental car, transfer, bus or train (Faro to Portimão, often with a change). From town to Praia da Rocha use a taxi, local bus or walk along Avenida Tomás Cabreira.
- Weather and clothing: July on the Algarve is typically 25–30 °C with long hours of sun. Pack light clothes, strong sunscreen, a hat and shoes that work on sand; empty hydration packs were usually allowed and could be refilled at water stations.
- Stay: There was no festival camping. Hotels in Praia da Rocha, Portimão, Alvor, Carvoeiro and Lagoa sold out around the event – book early only if a return is officially confirmed.
- Entry (2023 rules): 18+ only, with passport or driving licence. Clear-bag policy; backpacks, pro cameras, selfie sticks, drones, umbrellas and outside food or drink were generally banned. No same-day re-entry.
- Do not book travel on speculation: 2027 in Portimão is not confirmed. After the brand owner cancelled a 2024 return, there has been no further Portugal edition. Check Rolling Loud’s official channels before any trip or hotel booking.
