Welcome to the Roma Borgata Festival 2027 in Rome
Each summer, the Roma Borgata Festival turns several of Rome's outer neighborhoods into a network of open air stages. Rather than focusing on the historic center, the festival brings theatre, dance, circus and music directly into local markets, parks, courtyards and neighborhood bars in the Roman periphery.
Highlights and Attractions at the Roma Borgata Festival in Rome
- More than eighty events spread across eight neighborhoods on the outskirts of Rome
- A converted 1970s school bus used as a mobile stage

- Contemporary circus, dance residencies and music programs for all ages
- Symbolic ticket prices designed to keep the events accessible to everyone
- A closing celebration that puts a special spotlight on artists under twenty five

Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Rome
- Since the festival spans several outer districts, plan your route to each venue separately by bus or train
- Many performances take place outdoors, so pack sun protection or a light jacket depending on the season
- Staying in central Rome works well as a base for reaching the different neighborhoods
- Check the current schedule by neighborhood on the official website before visiting
