Welcome to the Convergence Fest 2026 in Munich
On Thursday, 15 October 2026, Ronnie Romero and Gus G. bring Convergence Fest to Backstage Halle in Munich. Showtime is 20:00 at Reitknechtstraße 6. This is the Munich date of the European Convergence Fest Tour 2026: hard rock and metal, each artist’s solo catalogue, and a shared run of Rainbow, Dio, Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne classics.
Highlights & Attractions at Convergence Fest in Munich
- Two headliners, one stage: Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, Elegant Weapons, former Michael Schenker Group) and guitarist Gus G. (Firewind, former Ozzy Osbourne band).
- Three-part night: a Romero set, a Gus G. set, then a joint finale of covers and original songs.
- About two and a half hours, with a new setlist, stage design and lights – billed by the artists as a long show.
- Shared track “My Premonition” plus anthems in the spirit of Rainbow, Dio, Sabbath and Ozzy.
- Club-scale room: Backstage Halle is the mid-size hall on the site (about 260 m²), general admission standing.
- Standing tickets from 41 euro; wheelchair plus companion listed at the same price. Promoter: MFP-Concerts.
- On Thursday, concert ticket holders get free entry to the regular Backstage after-show parties.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
Convergence Fest 2026 in Munich is a single concert, not a multi-day open-air. Doors for this date are not published separately; other German shows on the tour often opened at 19:00, with music at 20:00 – recheck Eventim and the venue close to the night. The 2026 run is framed as a larger sequel to the 2025 Convergence tour: separate sets first, then a shared block. If the advertised 2.5 hours hold, expect a finish around 23:00. Exact set times are not listed.
Romero is widely regarded as one of the leading classic hard-rock voices working today (solo albums “Too Many Lies Too Many Masters”, 2023, and “Backbone”, 2025). Gus G. brings melodic metal and shred, most recently with Firewind (“Stand United”, 2024) and a solo album announced for 2026. This is not a tribute act and not an original Rainbow or Ozzy line-up – it is two contemporary players hitting that catalogue live.
Tickets & Admission for Convergence Fest Munich
Munich is listed as standing admission at 41 euro, with wheelchair plus companion at the same face value. Eventim is the named on-sale (eventim.de, event ID 21296176). The artists also promote VIP upgrades via their tour ticket link (bnds.us); a separate VIP price for Munich alone is not published. Checkout fees can raise the total. Buy only through Eventim or the official artist link. Secondary listings have shown no stock at times – treat the official shop as the source of truth.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Munich
- Getting there: S-Bahn stop Hirschgarten (main trunk line), about a two-minute walk. Bus 152 and night buses N43/N44 (Hirschgarten or Wilhelm-Hale-Straße); tram 16/17 (Steubenplatz) or 9/18 (Lautensackstraße). On-site parking is available and costs more after 17:00 according to venue info. If you drink, use the S-Bahn or a taxi.
- Weather: mid-October in Munich is often cool and changeable, evenings commonly around 8–14 °C. A jacket for outside, layers inside – the standing hall heats up. Wear solid shoes.
- Stay: Backstage sits in the west, near Hirschgarten, not in the old town. Hotels and apartments in Neuhausen, Nymphenburg or around the central station link well by S-Bahn. A Thursday in October is usually easier than a weekend, but book if you plan to stay after the show.
- On site: standing show – bring ear protection. Cloakroom on site; the hall is step-free, wheelchair tickets via Eventim or the Eventim hotline. The cloakroom does not take fur.
- Tour context: 16 October is Bensheim (Rex); later German dates include Hamburg, Berlin, Augsburg, Aschaffenburg and Bochum. A Munich ticket is valid for Munich only.
