Welcome to the Rotterdam Zomercarnaval 2027 in Rotterdam

Rotterdam Zomercarnaval 2027 takes place from 22 to 25 July and turns the city centre of Rotterdam into a tropical celebration. It is the largest Caribbean street parade in the Netherlands. Thousands of dancers, spectacular floats and infectious rhythms from the Caribbean and Latin America create a unique atmosphere in the heart of Europe.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

The highlight is the Street Parade, which usually starts on Saturday at 12:00 from Blaak and runs until around 19:00 through the city centre. The route typically includes Witte de Withstraat, Museumpark, Nieuwe Binnenweg, Westblaak, Karel Doormanstraat, Weena and Coolsingel, ending near Beurs metro station. The weekend of 22–25 July 2027 also features parades, soirées, boat parties, festivities and food offerings. On Friday the Battle of the Drums traditionally takes place. Afterparties in clubs are separate ticketed events.
