What is Ruhr in Love?
Ruhr in Love is a one day electronic music festival in Germany's Ruhr region, running since 2003 under the motto "the electronic family festival". Instead of a handful of main stages, record labels, clubs and DJ collectives from across Europe each build their own small floor inside OlgaPark; every floor brings its own sound and community, spanning techno and acid to hardstyle, trance and drum & bass.
When and where does Ruhr in Love 2027 take place?
The 2027 edition is confirmed for Saturday, 3 July 2027, from 12 PM to 10 PM at OlgaPark in Oberhausen (Vestische Straße 45, 46117 Oberhausen, Germany). The park sits on the former state garden show grounds and has been the festival's permanent home since 2004.

Which floors and music styles can visitors expect?
Around 25 carefully built floors spread across the grounds, hosted by well known names in the scene such as Acid Wars, Techno Rulez! & Partykumpel Ruhrgebiet, Affenkäfig & Rheinaudio and Pollnik & Freunde. Past lineups have featured artists like Felix Kröcher, Klaudia Gawlas, Harris & Ford, MOGUAI and Sam Feldt. The official 2027 lineup will be announced closer to the festival.
How much do tickets for Ruhr in Love 2027 cost?
The regular eTicket costs 49 euros including all fees; the limited Family Love eTicket at 39 euros is already sold out. Both ticket types include free travel to and from the venue within the VRR public transport network and the option to pay in installments through Klarna. Entry is allowed from age 16, and tickets are only sold through the official website or the box office on site.
How do you get to OlgaPark in Oberhausen?
Traveling by bus and train is strongly recommended and already covered by the ticket price: on the festival day, all buses, trams and RE, RB and S Bahn trains within the VRR network can be used free of charge, valid until Sunday at noon. Vehicles are frequently checked on arrival and departure, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
Practical tips for festival day
- Book tickets early, since categories like the Family Love ticket sell out fast.
- Use public transport; the return journey is covered by the ticket until the following day.
- Bring valid ID, as entry is checked and only allowed from age 16.
- Cash is rarely needed on site since a cashless payment system is used; topping up credit in the app in advance saves time.
