The Saarburg Christmas Market 2026 transforms the old town and Buttermarkt into a sparkling winter wonderland on the Advent weekends from 4 to 6 and 11 to 13 December. Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The market takes place on the two Advent weekends: 4–6 December and 11–13 December 2026. Opening hours are Fridays from 15:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays and Sundays from 13:00 to 21:00. The opening Friday features an official opening with glowing stilt walkers. The programme includes stage music, St. Nicholas visits, children’s activities and free guided tours (registration required). Parallel to the second weekend, the Victorian Christmas Market runs at the KulturGießerei; electric carriage transfers are offered between the two markets.

Victorian Christmas Market “Jingle Bells” 2026 at KulturGießerei
On 12 and 13 December 2026 the Victorian Christmas Market takes place in parallel at the KulturGießerei (Staden 130). With a historic atmosphere, steampunk elements, costumes, music and British specialities, it offers a special complement. Free admission; electric carriage transfer available.
