Welcome to the Sagra del Pesce 2027 in Camogli
On the second Sunday of May 2027, Piazza Colombo in the Ligurian fishing village of Camogli once again becomes the stage for one of Italy's most famous folk festivals. Since 1952, fresh fish has been fried in a giant pan and handed out free of charge to every guest, in honor of San Fortunato, patron saint of fishermen.

The festival opens on Friday with the first food stalls and live music around town. On Saturday evening, the eve of San Fortunato, residents take part in a procession before large bonfires are lit on the beach and fireworks light up the sky over the gulf. The main event follows on Sunday: from around 10 in the morning, fresh fish is fried in the giant steel pan on Piazza Colombo and handed out free of charge to guests while supplies last.
