Welcome to Sankt Hans Aften in Denmark 2027
On the evening of June 23, 2027, all of Denmark celebrates the eve of St. John's Day with one of the country's oldest and most atmospheric customs: Sankt Hans Aften (Midsummer Eve). Countless locals and visitors gather at beaches, lakes, and parks across the country to light massive bonfires (Bål), sing traditional songs, and celebrate the longest day of the year.
