Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026

The Schlender-Advent takes place on 5 and 6 December 2026. On Saturday the stations are typically open from 12:00 to 19:00, on Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00. The event is spread throughout the entire historic old town. Visitors move from courtyard to courtyard and cellar to cellar, enjoy wine tastings, buy crafts and experience the special Advent atmosphere in the narrow lanes of Bacharach. Current programme details and exact opening times of the individual stations are published by Rhine-Nahe Tourism shortly before the event.

Tickets & Admission for Schlender-Advent Bacharach

Admission to the Schlender-Advent is free of charge. There are no tickets. Drinks, food and purchases at the stations are paid separately. Information about participating wineries and exhibitors is available on the website of Rhine-Nahe Tourism.

  • Arrival by train: Bacharach station is centrally located; the old town is only a few minutes’ walk away. By car, parking is available on the edge of the town.
