From May to July, Ludwigsburg once again becomes a lively festival city. Founded in 1932, the Ludwigsburg Festival is one of the oldest cultural festivals in the German speaking world, filling the magnificent Residenzschloss and other historic venues around Ludwigsburg with around a hundred events.
