Welcome to the Schwabach Autumn Kirchweih 2026 in Schwabach
The Schwabach Autumn Kirchweih 2026 takes place from 18 to 27 September on Königsplatz and Martin-Luther-Platz in Schwabach. For ten days visitors enjoy a traditional Franconian Kirchweih with Kerwabaum, procession, amusement rides, live music and regional specialities such as bratwurst and beer.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Herbstkirchweih opens on Friday 18 September at 17:00 with the Kirchweih procession and raising of the Kerwabaum, followed by the beer tapping. Opening hours are Fridays 12:00–22:30, Saturdays 11:00–22:30, Sundays 11:00–21:00 and weekdays 12:00–21:00. The first Sunday (20 September) features a festive church service, matinee, open shopping Sunday and church tower climb. Family Day takes place on 24 September with reduced ride prices. Live music fills the Kärwa-Dorf on both weekends. A traditional Kirchweih market runs through the old town on several days.
Tickets & Admission for Schwabach Autumn Kirchweih Schwabach
Admission to the Schwabach Autumn Kirchweih is free. Rides, food and drinks are paid separately. The optional Kärwa gold bar (90 cents, value 1 euro) can be purchased in advance at the citizens’ office and used at stalls and rides. Current information is available on the City of Schwabach website.
