Welcome to the Schweinfurt Volksfest 2027
In early June 2027, the Franconian city of Schweinfurt welcomes locals and visitors back to the traditional Schweinfurt Volksfest. Looking back on a proud history, this beloved event has been celebrated since 1909. Located at the festival grounds on Geschwister-Scholl-Straße, the ten-day fair offers a classic carnival atmosphere featuring thrilling amusement rides, cozy beer gardens, and a diverse program for the whole family.

Program
The Volksfest opens its gates in early June 2027 (tentatively scheduled from June 4 to June 13, 2027). Daily operations generally start at 2:00 PM, running until 11:00 PM on weekdays, and extending until 11:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Following opening day, highlights include mid-week family days with half-price deals on rides, evening live music in the grand tent, and the traditional musical fireworks finale on the final Sunday evening.
Tickets
Admission to the Schweinfurt Volksfest grounds is completely free of charge (€0.00). No tickets are required to enter the festival area. Visitors only pay individually at the various rides, game stalls, and food booths. Entry to the main beer tent is also free, though large groups wishing to reserve tables should contact the tent management in advance.

- Bringing large glass containers and hazardous items onto the festival grounds is strictly prohibited.
- Security personnel and local police are present throughout operating hours to ensure visitor safety.
