Welcome to the Konstanz Lake Night Festival 2027
On Saturday, 14 August 2027, the nearly four kilometer lakeside promenade in Konstanz once again transforms into a summer open air stage. The Seenachtsfest has been one of Lake Constance's most traditional events for over 75 years, drawing tens of thousands of visitors together with the neighbouring Swiss town of Kreuzlingen; the highlight of the evening is one of Europe's largest music synchronized fireworks displays over the water.

Program
The festival grounds around Stadtgarten, Konzilvorplatz, Hafenstraße and Klein Venedig traditionally open at 3:00 PM. Throughout the afternoon, live bands and performers entertain visitors on land and on the water, before DJs and further music acts take over in the evening. The emotional highlight is the grand music synchronized fireworks display, usually launched around 10:15 PM from several points over the water and on land together with Kreuzlingen. Afterward, parties continue on several stages late into the night. The detailed 2027 program is expected to be published by the organizers in spring.
Tickets
Tickets for 2027 are not yet on sale; information will be published on the official Seenachtsfest website once advance sales begin. For comparison, 2026 early bird prices started around 23.30 euros, with the regular day ticket at about 26.90 euros. Children up to age five enter for free, and reduced tickets for people with disabilities and social pass holders are available at the box office.
Visitor Tips
- Traveling by bus, train or boat is strongly recommended; the ticket serves as a public transport pass on the day of the event.
- Book accommodation early, as demand in and around Konstanz is very high.
- Arrive in the early afternoon to secure a good viewing spot for the fireworks.
- The fireworks can also be enjoyed from the water aboard passenger boats.
- The city center is closed to traffic during the day; parking is limited and expensive.
