Welcome to the 11th SEErenade at Silbersee Haltern
The SEErenade is a Viking market with camp days right on Silbersee II near Haltern am See, with lake views and green surroundings toward the Vogelsberg. In 2026 the event returns for its 11th edition, running from Friday, 2 October, to Sunday, 4 October, opening at 11 am on all three days. A Viking camp, Nordic music and old craft turn the site into an authentic lakeside tent village for the weekend.

Program and Opening Times: What's on at Silbersee?
The grounds open at 11 am on all three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Combat demonstrations run daily at 3:00 pm, followed by "Kids versus Vikings" at 3:30 pm. The beach treasure hunt, craft demonstrations and music run throughout the day. A fire art performance closes out Saturday evening.
Tickets and Admission for the SEErenade 2026
There is no online booking for the SEErenade; tickets are sold exclusively at the on site ticket booths, with a range of discounts available. Simply visiting the grounds or the adjacent Maui Beach does not itself grant entry to the Viking market. On top of the market entry, a separate parking fee of 5 euro is charged directly by the car park operator.
Visitor Tips: Getting to and Around Silbersee
- Silbersee II is located at Zum Vogelsberg, 45721 Haltern am See; reachable by train and bus via RE2/RB42 to Sythen station, then bus 273 to Silbersee
- Those arriving by car should budget for the separate 5 euro parking fee
- Since the site sits right on the lakeshore, weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes are worth packing for October weather
