Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Boechout
The festival traditionally runs from Thursday to Sunday on the Molenveld, a spacious festival meadow between Welvaartstraat and Oude Steenweg. In recent years the site opened on Thursday afternoon with festivities running into the early morning hours, while the weekend days started around midday. Exact 2027 opening hours and the full line up will be announced on the official website in spring.
Tickets and Admission for Sfinks Mixed
Admission to Sfinks Mixed is entirely free, no ticket is required to enter the festival grounds. Visitors looking for extra comfort can buy a day or weekend pass for the Casa de Amigos. Payment on site is fully cashless, and food and drinks are served in reusable cups and plates under a small deposit system.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Boechout
- Boechout train station is only a short walk from the festival site, with direct trains from Antwerp
- From Antwerp, the Molenveld is also reachable by bicycle in about half an hour, and free bicycle parking is available on site
- Since Sfinks Mixed has no campsite of its own, visitors from further away should book accommodation in Antwerp or the surrounding area
- Warm summer weather is likely in late July, so light clothing and sun protection are worth packing
- A day trip into nearby Antwerp, with its museums and historic center, pairs well with a festival visit
