Welcome to New Year's Eve Clubs in Amsterdam 2026/2027
New Year’s Eve 2026/2027 in Amsterdam is defined by club nights rather than private fireworks: since 1 August 2026 the Netherlands has a nationwide ban on consumer fireworks, so the city leans on professional shows and ticketed indoor parties. On 31 December 2026 and into the early hours of 1 January 2027, several confirmed programmes run across clubs and halls – from warehouse festivals to Rembrandtplein, Paradiso and AFAS Live. Line-ups and remaining tickets keep changing until December; buy only through official organisers.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026/2027
Most major club and hall parties open on 31 December 2026 between 21:00 and 22:00 and run until 05:00 or 06:00 on 1 January 2027. H7 Warehouse and Q-Factory deliver broad dancefloor programmes (eclectic, urban, Afro house, Latin, pop, world) with a midnight countdown. Escape on Rembrandtplein sticks to club house and urban sounds with local residents and MCs. Gashouder hosts a classic NYE night in the iconic Westergas gas holder; the detailed line-up is usually completed closer to the date. AFAS Live with FYM × Teletech targets harder styles and runs across New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Happy Feelings at The Other Side (Amsterdam-Noord) focuses on house and a positive club atmosphere. Paradiso pairs 1980s nostalgia in the Main Hall with other floors in the same building.
Public and free: Museumplein traditionally hosts a large countdown with live programme and a professional or electric show – consumer fireworks are banned. 2026/27 timings are published closer to the date via the City of Amsterdam. Leidseplein, Rembrandtplein and Dam also draw street and bar crowds; clubs almost always require a ticket and valid ID (usually 18+).
Tickets & Admission for New Year's Eve Clubs Amsterdam
Prices and availability move with ticket phases. Orientation (euro, based on public pre-sale figures): H7 Warehouse and similar warehouse/nightlife festivals from about €25–€40 for general admission, dinner and VIP higher; Gashouder from about €50 up to comfort around €150; Paradiso club nights around €45; FYM × Teletech at AFAS Live from about €50 per day or more for combos; Escape and Happy Feelings via their club and promoter shops. Buy only through official channels (organiser sites, Ticketmaster where listed, paradiso.nl, escape.nl, festival and club shops). Secondary markets are risky. Many events are 18+ with ID checks. Last tickets and door sales are often more expensive or sold out on the night – book early.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Amsterdam
- Getting there: Central clubs (Escape, Paradiso) sit on Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein and are easy by tram and metro. H7 Warehouse and Park Inn are in the western harbour area; Q-Factory near Atlantisplein; The Other Side on Rigakade in Amsterdam-Noord; AFAS Live and Gashouder/Westergas by public transport or taxi. NYE streets and trains are packed – allow extra time and check last services.
- Fireworks: Consumer fireworks are banned nationwide (except light F1 items such as sparklers). Expect professional or electric shows at selected sites, not private street rockets.
- Stay: Hotels and apartments around Leidseplein, Rembrandtplein, the centre and the west sell out early for New Year’s. Book ahead; for H7/Q-Factory also consider City West, for The Other Side the north side of the IJ.
- Entry: Bring valid ID, follow each party’s dress code (often smart casual or black & gold), and check bag and cloakroom rules. Alcohol and security checks are standard.
- Safety: Agree a meeting point, keep your phone charged, protect cash and cards, and use official taxis or apps only. Re-check line-ups and opening hours on official sites before December.
